Tarantula Margarita Mix What Does Proof In Alcoholic Drinks Mean?

What does proof in alcoholic drinks mean? - tarantula margarita mix

I bought a package of 4 called Blue Tarantula Margarita. The label says "200 ml 5.5% Alc. / Vol (11 proof)" If someone can explain what it means, Id appreciate it. Thank you!

Half of the test is the percentage of alcohol in the beverage industry. 11, the test can that the drink 5.5% alcohol by volume. I think that 80 degrees high.

As Aaron mentioned above, is a measure of the amount of alcohol in a product.

The proof is always twice (2x) the number of alcohol.

EX: Something is over 80 degrees, which means that it is labeled 40% alcohol.
Most beers are between 3-7% alcohol, which means that the test would be 6.14.

11 is a strong indication for a beer, but the proof is twice the alcohol content. if something is of 100 trials, 50% of the drink is alcohol. (40proof = 20%, 80proof = 40%)

Most beers are 4-6%, or 8.12 evidence

And 200 ml of liquid measurement. There are 200 milliliters of beverage, and 5.5% of 200ml of alcohol. Good for beer.

The percentage has doubled. For example, a 5% beer would be 10 proof. 11, the proof is not strong whiskey is 80 degrees and over 11 is no proof.
